André TELMAN

After superb achievements at the Conservatoire National de Région de Bordeaux where he received gold medals for trumpet, fugue, harmony, counterpoint and brass ensembles, André Telman continued his studies at the C.N.S.M. (Conservatoire National Supérieur Musique) in Lyon, crowned by a unanimous first prize in trumpet. He holds a state diploma to teach trumpet and a diploma to conduct the wind section. He teaches trumpet at the Conservatoire de Musique et de Danse de Rochefort. He conducts the Orchestre d’Harmonie de Saint-Savinien and the Batterie-Fanfare des Vents “Marine” (“Les Vents Marine” Brass Band) in Rochefort. He plays in the brass and percussion quintet “Brass maritime”, in the symphonic ensemble “Rocca Fortis”, as well as the Orchestre d’Harmonie de Charente-Maritime. A composer too, he has approximately 320 edited works to his name.
